Cracked by 15 of you!
Vidurashwata is called the Jallianwala Bagh of South India and the memorial is the Jallianwala Bagh memorial

The memorial is located in Jallianwala Bagh, Amritsar, the location of the famous Jalianwala Bagh Massacre in 1919.
The location indicated on the map is Vidurashwatha, a village in Karnataka, which is also known as the Jallianwala Bagh of the South, due to a very similar massacre that took place there in 1938.
The memorial is the Jalianwala Bagh Memorial
vidhuraswatha in karnataka analogous to jallianwalla in punjab

Jallianwalabagh Memorial
Jallianwala Bagh
Jallianwala Bagh monument. After much googling, I submit that the arrow on the map points to Gauribidanur, whose name means “grave town”, and is the location of burial of Tipu’s soldiers, so the connect is probably massacre and bloodshed of some sort.

Vidurashwatha – Jallianwala Bagh of the South
the first pic shows the memorial erected at jallianwala bagh.
Vidurashwatha is known as the Jallianwala Bagh of the South. On April 25, 1938, as a part of the freedom struggle of India, a group of villagers had congregated in a ground to organise a Satyagraha. Similar to what happened at Jallianwala Bagh, police fired indiscriminately at the group resulting in the death of 10 people.

Er..is it south India’s forgotten Jallianwallah?
Googled…
I landed up a place called Vidurashwatha in the Kolar district of Karnataka where in April 25, 1938, a riot similar to the one which took place at Jallianwallah Bagh on April 13, 1919 happened.
didnt get the connection, but the place is Gauribidanur in kolar district
good question..
But really feel bad that not much of the public are aware of such an incident..including me!! (until this question)
